Kaiser Permanente Fitness Program
I recently completed my first 5K Run/Walk for the Kaiser Permanente Fitness Program and the experience was actually pretty wonderful. Upon arriving, I had no idea what to expect, but found the live band, vendor booths and complimentary gifts and edibles to be a really nice touch! I was representing the “Digital Army Rangers” nickname for the Social Marketing team at Asbury Automotive and was delighted to hear that we won the “Spirit Video” contest over other corporations including MARTA. After taking photos for the contest, everyone stretched and we began our walk. I must say, it was really special to walk through downtown Atlanta and enjoy the scenery of our people and historical buildings as well as new structures in progress. Many times we drive through the city without having the opportunity to take it all in. I am looking forward to participating next year and will be on the starting line ready to sprint!
